Whether it’s national pizza day or just another Tuesday night, pizza is always a good dinner idea. You can get it frozen, make it in a fun, fancy pizza oven or bake it on a pizza stone in the oven.
No matter your preferred ‘za—downing delivery slices in bed, chomping late-night leftovers in the shroud of your dark kitchen, or reheating extra cheesy slices over your stove—here are the best gadgets you need in your life to get the most from your pie.
We can’t get over this adorable pizza oven for charming pizza nights.
The Pizzarette is a countertop pizza oven that is designed to cook 4-6 fresh, Lunchables-sized pizzas at a time—and it’s so much fun for parties. If you are interested in a novelty pizza oven, the Pizzarette does pretty much exactly what it claims to: It’s fun, it cooks pizzas quickly, and both the setup and cleanup are a snap.

If you don’t already own one, a pizza cutter is a must-have in any pie-lover’s kitchen.
A pizza wheel is a must-have for slicing pizza at home, unless you’re cool with dragging your cheese and toppings off of your crust while cutting. In which case, you’re a monster.
The Progressive International PL8 Artisan Pizza Wheel was ranked our best overall for its effective stainless steel blade, comfortable handle, and handy blade guard accessory.

This pizza stone is our favorite for its easy handling and superior heat retention.
If you plan on making pizza at home, you need a pizza stone. Because unlike a baking sheet or pan, stones absorb heat and transfer it evenly to your pizza dough, resulting in crunchy, chewy pizzeria-style pizza.
To use the stone, place it in a cold oven and preheat to 500 degrees, then carefully remove it to place your pizza, and get baking. Since the stone is made of the same material that lines furnaces, it can handle ultra-high temperatures. Our favorite is the Lodge for its easy portability and fantastic heat retention.

The wood-fired version takes some practice to get just right, but the flavor is worth it.
If you’re ready to up your homemade pizza experience to the professional level, it’s definitely worth investing in the Solo Stove Pi. During testing, we found this oven to be exceptionally great at heating quickly and cooking pizza evenly. Plus, it features a multi-fuel option for cooking with both wood and gas.
If you already have a Solo Stove, we recommend trying the brand’s Neapolitan Artisan Pizza Box, which conveniently features all the ingredients you need for a tasty pizza night.

Whether you’re cooking indoors or outdoors, you’ll want to invest in a pizza peel for easy handling.
Don’t you dare pull your pizza from the oven using a standard-sized spatula. A pizza peel is essentially a giant spatula designed to transfer pizza in and out of an oven, especially when using a pizza stone, in a way that preserves its delicate structure.
Sprinkle it with flour or cornmeal before use to allow your pizza to easily slide on and off. This American Metalcraft model is a best seller for its sturdy construction and thin design that easily slips under pies. $34 at Amazon
Take your pizza night outside to the BBQ with the help of this kit.
Grilling pizza is all the rage: On the grill, pizza cooks quickly, evenly, and with great smoky flavor. That’s because the grill reaches a much higher temperature than possible in a conventional oven, and much closer to that of a traditional pizza oven.
With a kettle converter, pizza stone, pizza peel, and charcoal fence, this pizza kit allows you to transform the kettle grill you already own into a pizza oven in just minutes.

Get your pizza nice and crispy all the way around with a perforated tray.
Perforated trays are great because they allow hot air to circulate around the pizza for faster cook time and a consistently crispy crust. They’re perfect for the pizza fanatic that doesn’t want to spend a fortune on a pizza stone, yet still craves a perfectly even crust with a nice crunch.

Mix things up with a Chicago-style deep dish pizza at home.
If you prefer that thick, saucy rendition of pizza that reigns supreme in the Windy City, you’ll need an appropriately sized pan to make it at home. This model from LloydPans is designed specifically for this job, but any similarly sized cake pan you have on hand should do the trick.
