What Is the Film About?
Aa Okkati Adakku revolves around an aged bachelor, Gana (played by Allari Naresh), struggling to get married. In the process, he finds his love interest Siddi (played by Faria Abdullah), but she is involved in a matrimonial-related scam. The film explores how this affects the bachelor community and how Gana exposes the matrimonial frauds in the name of matchmaking exploitation.
Performances
Allari Naresh plays the role of an aged bachelor, which is undoubtedly his forte, but the way his role is written or presented lacks freshness. It feels like Allari Naresh is just doing his job, and there isn’t anything to complain about, but at the same time, there isn’t anything to appreciate either. He looks very apt for the role and brings a convincing factor to the role of a guy struggling to get married.
Faria Abdullah plays the female lead, but her role in the first part of the movie is very patchy. After appearing in a couple of scenes, she disappears, and then her role comes back before the interval and continues through the rest of the film. She does her job and delivers what’s written for her role. 
Analysis
Aa Okkati Adakku is directed by Malli Ankam. He has chosen a plotline that is relatable in current society and has a connection. If presented well, it will instantly connect with the audience, but a proper blend of humor and drama in required doses is needed for the film to work.
The film begins by establishing the lead character’s marriage issue and his family setting. However, the bigger problem is that time keeps running, but nothing seems to work except a joke here and there that generates some laughs.
This is mainly due to the writing, which is utterly ordinary at times and poor at others. Take, for example, the very important hyper character of Vadina, played by Jamie Lever, in the house. Her scenes along with Allari Naresh should bring the house down with laughs, but that never happens. It has a lot of potential, but the director and writing team should blame themselves for not exploiting this track.
A small twist thrown in at the interval, though it doesn’t seem convincing.
The second half offers a more serious story, but again, the presentation and the confusion in presenting different characters are visible due to a lack of expertise in direction. Take, for example, the very important matrimonial fraud issue. The character played by Raja Chembolu is not even half-baked.
The director fails to present the very important and fresh idea of blending matrimonial frauds with the struggle of the lead hero and the core plot. When this does not work, there is no way this movie will succeed, and that’s what happened here.
And every time there is a song, it adds more pain to the ongoing boredom.
The climax delivers a good message related to matrimonial issues and scams, but it is too late by then to change anything at that point. The entire climax episode turns out to be like a courtroom drama by bringing immensely talented actors like Gautami and Murali Sharma but makes no use of them.
Overall, Aa Okkati Adakku has a relatable core story that should bring freshness through matrimonial frauds, but it never delivers due to a lack of clarity in direction and poor writing. Ultimately, a classic title is misused without reason. 
Performances by Others Actors
Aa Okkati Adakku has a large supporting cast, and while they all perform their roles adequately, none of them make a positive impact on the film. This is primarily due to the way their roles are presented, whether in comedy or drama scenes.
Vennela Kishore does his usual act in a typical comedy friend role, and others like Viva Harsha and Shakalaka Shankar test our patience, even though they are meant to generate laughs.
The important Vadina role played by Jamie Lever is a total miscast. Neither her role nor her act generates the required humor.
Talented actors like Senior actress Gautami and Murali Sharma appear as the judge and lawyer in the lengthy courtroom scene in the climax, but one wonders why the plot needs such actors in the first place for closure.
Other names like Anish Kuruvilla, Rajeev Kanakala, Ajay, Raghu Babu, Goparaju Ramana, Ariyana Glory etc., are present, but the less said about them, the better. 
Music and Other Departments?
Gopi Sundar provides the music, but he scores a solid zero in his department. Not even one song works well audio-wise or visually in the film. Adding to this, the placement of songs is a major problem.
Cinematography by Suryaa is decent, and the film visually looks fine for the middle-class setup. Editing by Chota K Prasad could have been sharper; even though the film has a short duration, it feels very lengthy.
Production values by Chilaka Productions are decent, and the film looks visually good.

Final Report:
Aa Okkati Adakku doesn’t have much positive to offer, except for its relatable core storyline. However, the rest of the movie suffers from poor writing and weak presentation. The decision to use a memorable title from the 90s is a regrettable mistake.

The first half of ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’ revolves around the struggles of an aging bachelor and is executed in a rather ordinary manner, with only a few jokes landing here and there so far.
