The Continental Drift: Paleo Food on Wheels – Eater Boston

Filed under:

The next food truck to hit the Boston streets could feature Paleo food. Pangea Cuisines, a catering and meal delivery company, started up in 2012, and now co-owners Andrea Crow and Katherine Henry are working on launching a truck, The Continental Drift. The duo has already bought an old truck and completed extensive repairs, and now they’re seeking $16,870 on Kickstarter to help fund the final pieces of the puzzle: a grill, inspections and licensing, and a few other components. Their crowdfunding campaign runs through early November, and rewards include hats, t-shirts, meals, and more.
Pangea Cuisines’ current menu includes dishes like a “stack o’ Paleo pancakes,” bacon-wrapped chicken, and grilled pork chops. People who follow the Paleo diet, also known as the “caveman diet,” focus on lean proteins, vegetables, and fruits, while decreasing intake of grains, legumes, and dairy.
